Selkirk Signs Big Talent

Selkirk has signed 6'3 all star James Ignatowich to their team of elite pro players.

Cornerstone pickleball company Selkirk Sport signs pro player James Ignatowich. With Selkirk's newest paddles, the Power Air series, it has attracted a lot of new, young talent into wanting to use their gear. Pickleball is growing into a faster pace sport every day, and at the highest levels you need to maximize power on your paddle and Selkirk has finally tapped into that market making their most powerful paddle to date.

"I wake up in the morning and I'm like, I've got to start playing pickleball. If you are passionate about it, you are going to want to work harder. That's just how it is." -James Ignatowich

James' specialty has been his singles game with significant wins over Frederico Staksrud, JW Johnson, Jay Devilliers, Zane Navratil, Ryan Sherry & Gabriel Joseph. He is finding the balance between singles and doubles as he recently won the grand prize of $100,000 winning Major League Pickleball with his team The Ranchers. Tchikatilov made a big splash at the APP Chicken N Pickle Next Gen Series in Oklahoma City where he came out with 3 shiny medals all of different colors. He won gold in Mixed Doubles Pro with Riley Bohnert, silver in Men's Pro Doubles with Liam Kilner, and a bronze medal in Men's Pro Singles.

We are sure we will hear more about Austin in the near future.
